At the age of 18 Indra moved to Ananda Village in Northern California, drawn by the ideal of “simple living and high thinking.” Besides managing Ananda Web Services he is also the co-owner of a small dairy and has been teaching yoga and meditation for the last 9 years. Indra is originally from Oahu, Hawaii and has spent time living in Oregon, Washington and both Northern and Southern California. He’s studied business and web design at Sierra College in Northern California.

Kalamali graduated with a master’s degree in public health from Boston University, with an emphasis in health communications. Since then, she has worked with nonprofits doing community research, marketing research, and providing consultations and educational training through her marketing consulting and evaluation business, Expand Your Impact. Some of her clients include the Finding Happiness Movie, Ananda Assisi, Ananda College, Education for Life, and her inspirational blog Ashram Girl in the City.

Nabha created his first website in 1994, but it wasn’t until 2004 that he began producing websites professionally. In 2005, he moved to Ananda Village and began working on Ananda.org. He has ten years of experience that includes work in every major web-related field, including copywriting, design, usability, development, online marketing, and search engine optimization (SEO). Recent websites that he helped produce include Paramhansa Yogananda and the Path of Kriya Yoga, Ananda Meditation Retreat, and Ananda Portland.

Rachel began working as a professional makeup artist in New York and Los Angeles, with now over 12 years experience working in the film and fashion world. Her eye and appreciation for beauty has evolved to creating videos for Ananda’s various ministries. She moved to Ananda Village from Los Angeles in 2012.

Radhika moved to Ananda Village from Encinitas, California in 2011, where she was studying psychology and religion. She and her husband Nabha are the admins for Ananda.org, and she also helps with the websites and online marketing of other Ananda businesses such as Treasures Along the Path, The Expanding Light, and Crystal Clarity. She has experience in copywriting, usability, online marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), and some design and development.

Surya has been a professional graphic designer for over 20 years and worked in advertising for 12 years for clients such as Merck Pharmaceuticals, Hyatt hotels, and Volvo. He moved to Ananda Village in 2010 from New York City, where he was working as Creative Director for Prime Access Inc., a company that specializes in marketing to multicultural populations. He also creates print designs for Ananda Sangha and was the designer for SwamiKriyananda.org and AnandaLaurelwood.org.

Prashad moved to Ananda Village in 2013 from the San Francisco Bay Area, where he lived for 8 years. He attended Stanford University, graduating with a degree in computer science, and worked for 4 years at Cisco Systems as a software engineer. In 2012, he discovered Ananda through the Palo Alto center, and lived in the community for over a year. During this time he helped maintain www.EastWest.com as a volunteer.

Hezequiel moved to Ananda India at the age of 23. Born in Uruguay, he did his studies and started working as a web programmer in Canada in 2009. At Ananda Web Services, he helps with project managing and development.

Cindy has been with Ananda since 1994. She developed EastWestBookshop.com and was webmaster for AnandaWashington.org for 7 years before joining the team at Ananda Web Services, where she enjoys a wide variety of projects on many of Ananda’s sites. She also co-directs Ananda Seattle’s choir and plays guitar.
