Our work with websites ranges from small brochure websites to 4,000-page multi-site networks. We’ve worked with e-commerce, event calendars, online class systems, intranet websites, and single-page scrolling websites, and can create custom plugins and designs or use existing ones to save time and money.
In my career as a business analyst I have worked with a multitude of web programmers and design teams. Hands down, Ananda Web Services is the best of them all. —Pat, Ananda Portland / Ananda Laurelwood
Our website creation process usually goes through these phases:
Strategy and planning
Designing the experience of the visitor
Creating content (photos, videos, and copywriting)
Marketing and promotion
We work almost exclusively with WordPress, a website platform that allows site administrators to edit and add new content with little technical skill — while keeping the original integrity of the design intact. WordPress is used by 23 percent of all websites, including hundreds of extremely popular brands such as The New York Times, Google Ventures, Bill Cosby, and Time.com.
Training is frequently included with a website project, so that you can have direct control of the website yourself, and we are often hired for ongoing maintenance after a website is finished, for example if no on-site developers are available.
Cost varies dramatically depending on the scope of a project, but is very flexible if you are willing to be flexible. Website projects we’ve taken on have ranged from $500 for a new feature, to $2,000 – $5,000 for a basic website, to $30,000 for a complex unique website with many special needs.
